FAQ

Is every piece really unique?

Yes – but in different ways. Some of our necklaces, like the iPod chain, belong to a recurring series. Still, no two pieces are ever fully identical, as each item carries its own details, wear, and story. Others are created as true one-of-a-kind designs that exist only once. Either way, every necklace has its own uniqueness.

What materials are used?

Most of our necklaces are crafted from stainless steel, which is strong, durable, and rust-free. We combine this with upcycled treasures such as old iPods, seashells, or vintage keychains, giving every piece its own unexpected character.

Can I wear the necklaces in the shower?

Stainless steel is water-resistant and safe to wear. However, the upcycled parts, such as electronics or shells, prefer to stay dry. To ensure your necklace lasts, we recommend removing it before swimming or showering.

What length are the chains?

Our standard lengths are 45 cm for women’s necklaces and 55 cm for men’s necklaces. Many pieces are also adjustable, so you can decide how you want to wear them.

Do you make custom pieces?

Yes. If you have a specific idea or even a personal item you would like transformed into a necklace, we are happy to create a custom piece for you.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Caring for your necklace is simple: wipe it gently with a soft cloth, store it in a dry place, and avoid contact with harsh chemicals. That’s all it takes to keep your piece looking its best.

Are the materials sustainable?

Yes. All materials are carefully chosen with sustainability in mind. By working with upcycled elements and stainless steel, we extend the life of existing resources rather than creating new waste. In addition, all CO₂ emissions generated by shipping are fully compensated, making our process climate-neutral.

Where do the materials come from?

We source our materials from both the past and the present. Old technology, found objects, and stainless steel are repurposed and rebuilt into jewelry that tells its own story.

How is the jewelry packaged?

We use packaging that is made primarily from sustainable and recyclable materials. For the few packaging components where this is not yet possible, we offset the environmental impact through compensation measures.
